The entrance to the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail is near the Rainbow Falls parking area. The Grotto Falls trail head, another popular waterfall, is located along the loop. A must see is Rainbow Falls, an extraordinary 80-foot tall waterfall, also the highest waterfall in the Smokies. Grotto Falls is also in the Roaring Fork area, this 25-foot high waterfall happens to also be the only waterfall in the Smokies that you can walk behind.
